Havasu Canyon begins at the rim and travels down to the Colorado River. Havasu Falls and Mooney Falls, probably the most spectacular on Havasu Creek, are usually reached by hikers from the rim. Beaver Falls is usually reached by hiking several miles up from the river and is worth the effort. The falls cascade through several pools of serpentine.
