Bosque Lift Off
Bosque del Apache in New Mexico is a well-known
sanctuary for cranes and other migratory birds. This image was taken during the lift-off of the sand cranes at dawn. The only thing missing is the incredible sounds of the birds talking and their wings beating the air.
