Male bears spar with each other at this time of year, but they arent fighting for mates just practice and exercise. They regularly wrestle each other for short and long periods, providing great photo opportunities. Then they would either lie down on the ice to cool off, or wander away. It was always two bears sparring, never three. This bear looked like he was just about to launch a knock-out punch.
